Ice Castles

When temps hit below freezing, we know the Midway ice castles are starting to grow.
The crews grow roughly 10,000 icicles every day and place them throughout the Ice Castle to provide something for the water to freeze to. Over time the icicles get absorbed into the ice structure.
Visiting the castles is one of our favorite winter activities. It’s also the perfect location for some unique photos.
